Raising Of Funds and Awareness To Take Place At Open Mic Night

September 28, 2012

Announcements, Culture, Entertainment, Events

The Real Story is sponsoring the monthly open mic might at Tampico Bay Courtyard Bar (1515 College Street) on Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at 7 p.m.

The focus of this month’s event, however, will be to raise both funds and awareness for the Gregg family as the struggle with the recent diagnosis that their three-month-old daughter, Natalie, has Spinal Muscular Atrophy.

Spinal Muscular Atrophy is the most common genetic cause of infant death.

Although admission to the open mic night is FREE and open to the public, we will be accepting donations to benefit the Gregg family throughout the evening.

In the event that you cannot attend the open mic night, but still want to contribute to this worthy cause, please make your check payable to The Gregg Fund and mail it to:

P.O. Box 403
Columbus, Miss. 39703

And, of your course, please keep the Greggs in your thoughts and prayers.
